Kartoffel Screen Pen is a macOS screen annotation tool that allows users to draw and highlight over any application using mouse input and keyboard shortcuts. We respect your privacy and design the app so that it does not collect, store, or transmit personal data.

The app requests Accessibility permission from macOS. This permission is used strictly for the following purposes:
Accessibility access is only active when the user explicitly enables drawing mode (e.g. “Start”). When drawing mode is inactive, no input monitoring occurs.
We do not log, record, or transmit any input captured through Accessibility APIs.
Your personal information is stored only on your device and we do not provide a way to export your information outside of your device. That being said, we do not keep your information outside of your device. While we take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, it is important for you to also take precautions to protect your data. Ensure that you use strong, unique passwords on your device and keep them confidential.
Kartoffel Screen Pen does not store any user input or screen content. All drawing data exists only in memory during active use and is not persisted unless explicitly saved by the user.
This app does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
